Carolyn Rosenblatt began her career as an RN, primarily working as a visiting nurse for 10 years. She made thousands of house calls to hundreds of elderly people and their families. Carolyn is very familiar with what it is like to live with the problems of aging. Carolyn is also an attorney who vigorously represented injured individuals over a 27-year career. Sometimes she brought cases against nursing homes.

Carolyn has extensive experience in nursing homes, both as an aide and an RN. As a lawyer, she brought cases against some nursing homes for elder neglect. She has firsthand experience with family conflicts, having a mentally ill mother whom Carolyn helped care for until the end of her life. At present she coordinates care for a disabled sibling.
She is an experienced mediator, conducting family meetings to resolve issues about elders, working with Dr. Davis.
AgingParents.com was founded by Carolyn and Dr. Davis in 2006, to bring their healthcare, legal and mental health expertise to families and individuals who are struggling with issues related to aging. They offer skilled help with the worst and most emotionally charged areas families have with aging loved ones, family conflicts, dementia, finances and other problems.
Dr. Mikol Davis
Dr. Mikol Davis is a committed and passionate provider of mental health services as a clinical psychologist. He has practiced in this field for 38 years and has helped hundreds of individuals and families find improved relationships and better emotional health.
Dr. Mikol Davis has worked extensively with children and families. Over the years as many of his clients grew older, he began to focus more of his time on problems related to aging. He took special training in working with elders and now finds it to be a very satisfying part of his practice. He works with Carolyn on family communication problems, offering confidence-building ways for families to get past their historical conflicts and move forward to solve their difficulties for the good of the aging persons in their lives. He has a particular talent for teaching clients how to talk to one another and their elders in a way that reduces or eliminates conflict.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davis has firsthand personal experience with aging parent issues. As of this writing, his widowed mother, Alice, is 91. He helps her maintain her independence and manage her home, her finances and her mental health.
